We cannot estimate the yield when we cannot know how the bitUSD market gains value ..
IF the volume in the bitUSD market stayed at the current level then the yield probably will stay there too..
however, the next release will bring "interest payed by shorts" and I can only speculate on the market behavior from that change ..

guestimation is that it will probably be alot larger than currently (1.5% or so) ..

Are we still expecting 5-10%? How about in the future, if/when there is huge demand for BitUSD (or any other asset), will a decent yield still be possible? I read somewhere that the new short system that was implemented had the result of increasing collateral while decreasing yield, but I'm wondering how much an effect is anticipated.

Just curious how much BTSX will need to make me before I can diversify it in the future and live solely off the yield  8).
