As a delegate you would get BTS every 101 blocks. I believe it is 50 BTS for each block. There are roughly 180BTS paid per delegate per hour. Perhaps that could be sufficient to cover the cost of producing it.

Would love to see something specific for Bitshares. I know I'd be willing to throw some tips your way.

I feel you...it's just rather time, effort, and money consuming to make a song like this professionally.  I tried to make it as all-encompassing of the crypto-space as possible...(focusing on the blockchain technology, spoke about DAC's, etc..)

I could go change every "bitcoin" for "bitshares" but would it be worthwhile for anyone involved? haha (I'm actually more of a Bitshares supporter than Bitcoin itself....I see Bitshares as Bitcoin 2.0)

Maybe we need to consider electing a few media delegates that are funded for their time and efforts in promoting BitShares?

I think it would be pretty interesting to see a mixtape that teaches some of the core concepts of blockchain tech / BitShares via the lyrics, with contributions from all of the musicians in the community. You could probably get the Bitcoins and Gravy podcast to feature it as well as PeerTracks when they launch.

First and foremost.  I love it.  I love your effort and what you have done. 

Secondly and also very important to note (imho), is that this community is more interested in BitShares-specific content largely because we believe that using the term Bitcoin lends credence and legitimacy to a project most of us here see as the antithesis of what it was supposed to be.  So you will get a great deal of applause for your efforts, but maybe a little more push back on the message being pushed forward specifically using Bitcoin.

I understand your argument...I just felt that focusing on blockchain technology and the implications of such (i mentioned DAC's for example) would allow it to reach and be embraced by a broader scope of listeners....I wanted to create an anthem of sorts for the whole crypto community...but at the same time have it be a smoother introduction for people just finding out about crypto...I still see Bitshares as a Bitcoin 2.0 technology with the emphasis being on the blockchain technology...

Well I see Bitshares as Bitcoin 2.0, so this is a song for Bitshares...I called it Welcome To The Blockchain because I think that is the true innovation, not necessarily the unit of account.  I even mentioned DAC's at the end of the song..and I said "Bitcoin is just the beginning"...so I hope that people across the crypto world will be able to embrace it because the idea of a decentralized ledger is what unites all of us.
