It does seem harsh, do the big stakeholders not want to make use of BTS's super-power, DPOS?  I don't know.

I think it's the current DPOS mechanism should be blamed, people now have no much motivation to vote.  I remember there was a discussion about how to encourage people to vote. One solution is to burn x% of the inactive BTS or non voted BTS.

It is sad .. yes ... i think most funds are in coldstorage .. afaik.next relwase will make voting with cold funda easier
