Bittrex might be out of sync, I think they dropped support for us a while ago so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't update. Maybe just convert to BTC and buy on bter or btc38.

Unfortunately, i still get the same error message on Bittrex even though my account is registered now....
can anyone help me out?

Hi all, I just tried to transfer BTS from my Bittrex account to my BitShares account. That didn't work, i got the message that the account was not valid. Probably because my BTS account is not registered yet? So can anyone please transfer some BTS to my account?
