I'm in favor of calling one of the earlier versions "1.0" because it is all pretty much arbitrary but people are waiting on 1.0 to take action which could be done as soon as the light client is out.


edit:   To clarify, 1.0 was supposed to mean protocol stable version. We want protocol stability for third-party services and light client stuff. Those don't actually require the stuff in the newly labeled "1.0", I guess services may have to update their client two extra times. The name "1.0" has a lot of significance even if it's arbitrary.

Milestones have changed as of today. It looks like the 1.0 release is set back 6 weeks.

Any official comments about the development roadmap?
