I believe that we will become better and better, but we will face greater competition in 2015,

Blind optimism will only waste our time, Delegate System + Wallet + Market promotion are our weaknesses, still need to be improved

If we have a business partner with merchant-web wallet ecosystem,  such as coinbase, wallet client problem will become less problematic and bitAsset adoption will skyrocket.

thats very correct, and now we can go down that path with the power of BTS community.

We know where we are
We know where we should go
All we need to do at this moment is to set a plan and start moving.
This sounds like daydreaming. How to persuade that kind of partners with no equal value. So hard.

If we don't move at all we are daydreaming, thats why we need to move step by step,
I am not talking about development of BTS core, I am talking about we should start the marketing in a more practical way.
Practical way, agree.
Some basic fairs need to be finished such us a usable wallet. So i feel this topic get the right point.
Market is like a battle , and our service is the swords. How to fight without weapon..

Bitcoin -13.93%
BitShares -13.36%
Stellar -13.14%
NXT -15.15%
Counterparty -15.11%

The first step in solving any problem is recognizing there is one.
These numbers show exactly that BitShares is not better than any other crypto-currencies from the investors' points of view.

I never got the feeling that developers were spending their time arguing on forums.  It is amusing how perspectives differ.

Yes , it's amusing how tons of people came to the same perspectives  , including those who have been with Bitshares for longer than a year .
And the market is acting base on that perspectives  .

Maybe that's because BM openly said that he won't be coding ? And knowing what kind of great skill that BM has brought to the table , that would make the project less easier to achieve in the planed schedule before the critical time of ETH launching ?

Bitcoin -13.93%
BitShares -13.36%
Stellar -13.14%
NXT -15.15%
Counterparty -15.11%

If you're watching the Github, there's big progress continuing on the wallet.  As for arguing in the forums, I think Stan (who is not a developer) is doing a great job bringing attention to Bitshares.  I believe the Nullstreet guys are doing a great job on their side as well.  We're beating a dead horse, everything is making steady progress.

Convincing one guy like me does not matter , you'll have to convince more guys with out there .

And I'm telling you from deep knowledge of what the situation is in China , that's what they're thinking , that's what they are acting on base on that thinking . Bitshares wasn't even suppose to comparing to NXT , XCP to begin with if you know how much confidence and heavy players were there for Bitshares .

Stop feeling overly optimistic , that's what got us into this situation , remember ?

Every optimistic feeling about progress would take us into another hot headed rush and end up doing things that we would not have done in a normal circumstance .

Feel the crisis , acknowledge it , act on it .

The Bitshares business is not just about few people feeling great on the forum . All that matters is the users and the market .
Always remember that .

By the way , the post you just did , was exactly like how I would tell those doubters months ago , I tell them "relax , good thing will come ". I know how to write that base on this direction , I just don't think that way of understanding really represents the general thinking besides people from this small forum  , not even sure that will help this community in the long run .

Because that's overdraft of the confidence in people . One time , two times , three times ......

Let them have doubt , don't convince them , try to understand their doubt . I'm not here to ask for an explanation . I'm just here to represent a direction .

Also , I can write any version of explanation myself , I'm good with that and wrote a lot on behalf of this community .
But that doesn't mean explanations are facts .

Make it usable so that people can use it, or it is useless.  Hope the dev team will consider this more.
