No, it is specifically hidden (using "TITAN" aka stealth addresses).

There is an option to have "public accounts" which will be the default soon.
Do not use this post as information for making any important decisions. The only agreements I ever make are informal and non-binding. Take the same precautions as when dealing with a compromised account, scammer, sockpuppet, etc.

Is there a way to check your wallet balance without locking into your account?
Bitshares blocks does not display the account balance.
