Yes, 0.4.27.2 is the old version, you need to upgrade to the new one. You just download it and run it instead of the old one.
Do not use this post as information for making any important decisions. The only agreements I ever make are informal and non-binding. Take the same precautions as when dealing with a compromised account, scammer, sockpuppet, etc.

Thanks...I'm so new at this. I always think of the update as something like v.4.27.2.exe which is the latest version of the wallet I have.  I don't know what BTS 0.5.1 even is let alone how to upgrade.  Is it an upgrade to 4.27.2?
Quick background....like I said I have wallet...have exchanged with bter etc. for BTC/BTS.  Now have BITUSD and some BTS in wallet.

BTS wallet states Severe Network Problems in lower right hand corner. What is the full meaning of this and does it happen often?  Thanks
