If 10500 doesn't work try with more keys, in my case 10500 and 11000 keys didn't work, my next step was 22000 keys and this worked.

I will certainly remember this solution in case another blackout happen to my computer.
Finally fixed it in the wiki too:

The important thing is you had a lot of copies. Not a stupid guy at all.

On     >_console   :P

type this command:

wallet_regenerate_keys account_name 1000

PS  account_name= your account name you made the order

wait until it finishes and you should be ok   ;)

Thanks! I will try this, it's processing now. I will come back with feedback.

I tried, it's not coming back. What alternative do I have? Thanks!

Try 10500 instead of 1000

What a stupid guy I am. I only check one copy "wallets" to be corrupt, but another copy is complete. So when I replace it with my "wallets" under which I create the sell order, the coins are sitting there.

Maybe I am lucky because my hard disk is SSD.

So if change the number will work out or not, I can't test it. Leave it to the next one, I hope there will be no one. LOL...

What liondani said. All keys are deterministic now so your money can be recovered. Rest easy :).

We've all made mistakes. Hope you resolve the issue. Someone smarter than me may be able to help. In the meantime, if it makes you feel any better,

I feel your pain.

I want to describe what happened first:
1. I put a sell order of 1169x BTS at 0.073xx (I can't remember exactly the both number), before I click confirm, my computer is power off due to a powercut;
2. When I open the computer again, the wallet can't open, I go to the roam find the "bitshares" folder is only 57M which should be close to 2G. What's worse, the "wallets" folder is blank with no data in it, seems corrupt;
3. Hopefully I have a copy of "bitshares" folder two days ago, I replaced it with this backup;
4. After 3, I found there is no open order or BTS balance;
5. Hopefully I have a copy of json wallet backup 12 hours ago, so I use the menu to import this latest json, still no BTS balance.

I don't use any console command because I'm not good at it. Can I get my 11699BTS back? How?

Thanks!
