When are next Snapshots?

Quoting from the opening paragraph of the profoundly prescient July 4th, BitShares Newsletter:

Quote
...we are entering a period of rapid press announcements (partnerships, snapshots, protoDACs, and commercial DACs) every few weeks for the remainder of this season.  Starting immediately…

Get your BTS wallet here thread

fix it to 2014-02-28

Its not 1 PTS for 1.3BTSX its 1 PTS for 644BTSX now

Can you point me to the article you based your calculation on? I'm pretty lost in the current conversion rates for BTSX  :D

k thx, updated

28-2-2014 snapshot for BTSX (not 18)

The date is the "announcement" date, not the actual snapshot date, use the block number for the actual snapshot.

This thread is to keep track of projects that accept the PTS social contract, which allow you to import your PTS to obtain something. Please let me know by reply or pm me, if you found a new project that isn't listed here.

The format is as follows:
Announcement date
Exchange rate
PTS block (you must have confirmed balance at an address you control, when this particular PTS block is mined, to be able to receive anything)
Project links

2014-02-18
1 PTS for 1.3 BTS
block 57,787
Get your BTS wallet here thread

2013-12-10
10 PTS for 1 MMC
block 32,000
MemoryCoin2 bitsharestalk
MemoryCoin2 bitcointalk

this is a very helpful thread, keep it going!

Good initiative. I also think you should do % of ALL coins.

This also brings up the point that the social consensus is ambiguous? For a coin with infinite supply it is impossible to determine the %.

I'd settle for 10% of infinity! :)

In all seriousness, one interpretation is that for permanently inflationary coins, devs should give a fixed fraction of each mining block reward to PTS/AGS holders. That would certainly honor the social consensus. Miners might not appreciate it, but a clever-enough developer should be able to convince them to get on board.
