Can't believe how expensive that LGA 1366 hardware has gotten- looks like I could sell my 2 year old computer (i7 950) for more than I paid for it...

They do not. Dual L5639 just have a ton of GHz (24 v-cores).

I have the same config with 2 x5639 getting only 4.5 h/m now... Where is the trick?

I have the same config with 2 x5639 getting only 4.5 h/m now... Where is the trick?

I have a custom script that prevents 'watch' from abusing resources.
the miner runs as an idle process on linux by default.
