I just spoke to a couple of non-crypto people.

Talked about bitshares for about an hour with not much to show except confusion.
Then we went to https://wallet.bitshares.org/ and I asked them sign up for an account.

I sent them 50 cents each, and got them to send 25 cents to each other. The whole process was done in less than 5 minutes and light bulbs were going off all over the place.

The web wallet is a must use sales tool for non-crypto and is actually an easier sale than crypto people.  Crypto people struggle to get over the stable currency thing. Non-crypto people never think to ask. Futures contracts, derivative markets and delegates never get mentioned.

I cant wait to have a phone app without the delegate and markets tab to promote.

edit:  I should mention I have done this same process for bitcoin many times over the years and the difference is huge.  Bitcoin still left them confused because what is a bitcoin worth?  This is infintely more powerful. When they send 50 cents.... they get it.  No more question other than... Can we do it again?

Why not give people free money? $5 per person to get 10,000 people for a total of $50,000?

Also have it set up so there is a place for them to immediately spend that $5.

Think of it like blood circulating through a biological system. We need new blood which might mean we have to pay to get them to participate. Circle did something just like that but at the same time we could get the $5 back most of the time if we set it up so its very easy for people to spend the $5 on some product or service.

People need to see that they can spend $5 in BitUSD and get something real.

And when that happens, we should send Max to the 'Shark Tank'  http://abc.go.com/shows/shark-tank .

I am a step ahead of you.   :)

When viewed through my Galaxy Note 4 and Chrome, the edges get cropped and you can't read all the text, and zooming out and scrolling doesn't really work.  I know its a web wallet and not a mobile wallet, but I don't have any issues on any other web pages.  I have not signed up because of this.  Otherwise, keep up the great work!

The web wallet Chinese area access is not very smooth

Working on it.   Wildpig has just helped detail several things in this area that we need to fix.
