We are certainly open to the idea of doing a "Bitshares Auction" where we could auction the 3D creation we did with big discount for Bitshares users.

What if they got a delegate spot and used some of those funds to distribute stuff like this at a significant discount to the BitShares community?  Then we could hand these things out at meetups.  Maybe even get a "BitShares Award" for innovation in Blocktech and send it to those to people who build really awesome things to add them onto the BitShares chain?

There are some great DIY kit like that on AliExpress for those who wants to learn 3D printing and have fun building their 3D printer.

It would be really cool to have a 3D printer.  All I know is you are already one of our best twitter marketers.  An entire army of 3d printers would likely get a lot of eyes on for one of the perfect  demographics for bitshares and that isn't even talking about the amazing agricultural and sustainability project.

I love Shapeshift too, I use it daily, but Metaexchange use helps feed back into the bts ecosystem.

1- Make the 3D model on Tinkercad.com, a free software very easy-to-use.



2 - Choose the color, we decided to go with the White PLA, we're waiting for a light blue that could fit well with Bitshares.



3 - Start the 3D printing job after we chose our settings like bed temperature, fan speed, extruder temperature, etc.



4 - Wait 3-4h and there you go. We actually started the 3D printing job while we were sleeping.

I will check if its possible for the bubble head, but I know we can 3D print a face and it's looking pretty good.

Here we 3D scanned and 3D printed some members of the team (the 3D model was not well done because it is scanned with Kinect)



And for an example, this is a nice 3d model of Vladimir Putin, the 3D printed result is much more better, because of the 3D render.
