There could be a mining pool UIA that people could invest in. The funds could be used to rent Hashing power in our pool.

like renting power on nicehash? I like the idea!

Someone wants to add it to the document? (I can't right now)

Would it be possible to mine via wallet? I mean, later on, creating a feature where with a single "Mine" click, People would be able to mine and choose what currency they want to be paid with? Kind of like darknotes claim to have on their wallet (havent confirmed it yet)it yet. That way you could be paid directly to your wallet.

I think would be useful because it would be more acessible, simple and easier for the average Joe to give it a try. I dont know how its done now but i remember when i discovered bitcoin that having to mine with cgminer and mess with the settings was pretty intimidating at least to me. It was fun but not accessible to everyone and that should be one of our main goals, mass user adoption.

I dont know if that could be done though, but its a suggestion worth taking into consideration
lol you mean in the main bitshares client?
not necessarily, just on a bitshares wallet. Some way to log into the pool só payouts would go directly to your account and easy to be done. Doesnt duck/darknote have a similar feature? Not saying it can be done, im suggesting to know if it could be done or not

When people mine on the multi pool their payouts will go directly to their Bitshares user account and can receive their payouts as bitUSD,  bitGOLD, bitSILVER, bitEURO, bitCNY and possibly more. This will require all miners to setup and use the Bitshares client.
From here, miners will now have the option to either keep their bitAssets and earn yield by holding onto the bitAssets within BitShares, ...or take their bitGOLD and bitSILVER then trade it in for the real thing via CryptoSmith and then have the metal shipped strait to their front door, ...or trade out the bitAssets for BTC through the awesome MetaExchange bridge and have BTC sent directly o their BTC wallet.

But to directly answer your question, no you can not mine directly with the BitShares client..

Maybe I didn't express myself right, sorry. I meant, it doesn't need to be with the client, but within. The same way bitsaphire could integrate metaexchange within the wallet to trade bitUSD for BTC or other app. A simple and easy method similar to darknote's "Mine Button". Either way, theirs doesn't work like that, they built a pool miner client from scratch and integrated it on the wallet. I only researched about it now. it still has the advantage of being noob friendly, since it comes wiht a pre-configured mode. that's what i liked about the idea and was asking about.

I talked to DSN yesterday and it seems like they have a great road map. We also agreed on a few things,

Pool must be the most profitable
Payouts and up time need to be on point
It must be easy for miners to cash out via CS if they choose to do so

Personally I think it would be great if a miner could come to Minebitshares site and use the social login found here http://cryptosmith.info/index.php?controller=authentication&back=my-account

This way they create a account via bitshares client(sign-ups).Their shipping info can be collected and from their it should be a simple one click to have their digital turned to physical. We even talked about shipping little 1 gram bars of gold to lower the entry barrier for smaller mining operations.

Do you think they should have a webwallet or the software?

minebitshares.com needs to be in the top pool list - https://poolpicker.eu/ to attract miners in a significant way.

Yes, transfer of ownership will be completed next week. Then our goal will be to enable Sha256 and stay at the top of poolpicker.eu and every other listing with the help of the delegate.

When miners realize that their bonus increase as our market cap grows, they may want to start buying some BTS.

i thnk it would be more appropriate to use something like this:

just made as a icon instead of the overused boring one.  :D

I don't think a hammer is as effective as this machine.

The road map looks great. As a retired miner I can say profit trumps everything. All miners who are mining as anything more than a hobby have their profitability calculated six ways from Sunday and multiple revenue forecasts. The margins are very thin. Stay #1 in profitability and you'll have no trouble attracting miners.
I doubt I have anything to add that you guys haven't already thought of long ago but thought I'd chime in as a reformed small time miner (~80 GPU's).

We can't wait to start improving upon what has already been built. Stay tuned!

The Operator is DataSecurityNode and he is in charge of the logistic of the back-end.
(see the to do list in the document)

I do marketing, so I am looking to create a front-end website with a bitshares login, tutorials to setup an account, whitepapers, gui, etc.

+5% Fantastic work guys - I'm really pleased that the minebitshares project will live on and now has the team and vision to take it to the next level.

I'd like to thank the BitShares community for the support you've shown me since my original post in launching the original delegate campaigns for the pool last July (https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,6236.msg83330.html#msg83330).

And of course - thanks to the miners!

I'm still around helping with the transition and will continue to be mining myself on the pool - can't wait to be able to mine bitGold!

Bring it on...  :D

THANK YOU!
The Mining Pool will have a second life!

We are currently in the transition of ownership of the pool operation from nethyb to datasecuritynode.

Here is our Roadmap!

If you have mining experience, your input is greatly appreciated.
