We are very sorry for the yesterday's downtime of our platform. Thanks to our safety solutions and our quick decision to disable the platform we were able to protect the funds of our users against the actions of hackers and to avoid BTC removal. In particular, we apologize these customers whose accounts remain blocked for the explanation - due to their unintentional involvement in transactions with fraud users. We ask for your patience and understanding. We are working to clarify the situation and your accounts we will be unblocked soon.

Reagrds,
BitBay team

Hello,

Today we would like to present you some changes we have made to the platform. The improvements include:
- we increased the number of buy/ sell offers displayed on the website,
- we medicated the orderbook table by adding "Sum BTC" and "Sum USD" columns that allows you to verify the current market depth,
- we added the information about the exchange rate of the last transaction to the the browser tab
- we improved the automatic language detection, plus we have introduced an easier way to manually select the language of the page.

We hope that all these changes will make it easier for you to use our platform. We will release more updates soon.Smiley.
Thank you for all your feedback!

Regards,
BitBay team

You might get more enthusiasm if you listed bitshares on your exchange.

Thank you very much for you suggestion. We are considering adding new currencies to our exchange.
Do you think that BitShares will increase in value?

Best regards,
BitBay Team

Here is the deal: you add BitShares, bitUSD and bitEUR to your listings and we start using your exchange.
You have a chance to be the first exchange in Europe offering BTS and also be the first gateway between fiat and bit-assets in Europe. This will be very appropriated in this community.
You'll find more details here:

nope that isn't right :)

I've registered an account with them and deposited some fiat to buy BTC and everything went smoothly. And indeed it works without KYC verification as they advertise.

@BitBay - Assuming you read Polish I've sent you a private message with more info about BitShares and bit-assets.

Thank you very much for trying out our platform. Also, thank you for your message. We will contact you back shortly.
All best!

Do you have any relation to this BitBay, which is accused of scam? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=850267.0

You might want to clear that out as people can confuse things.

We would like to assure you all that our trading platform - BitBay (www.bitbay.net) does not have anything to do with the service mentioned above.
We are a legally operating company in Poland and the coincidence of names is coincidental. You can check all information about us. BitBay is the only cryptocurrency exchange with a bricks-and-mortar Customer Service Office.

I believe (but I not 100% sure) they are a completely different entity so most probably they have nothing to do with this scam. But it's up to them to clarify.

As far as I know they are a company based in Poland and have recently become a leading BTC exchange there and have ambitions to expand internationally.
Bitcoin in Poland has a quite significant following so it's a relatively big market.
