Right now you can create market pegged assets as well, and these will be changing in BitAssets 3, so I do wonder what will happen to user generated MPAs?

I personally created: NIKKAI, NASDAQC and HANGSENG as MPAs to stop those names getting used up by squatters as UIAs.
My opinions do not represent those of metaexchange unless explicitly stated.

Well, I wouldn't say BitAsset revisions don't have any impact on UIAs. In my case I intend on selling my UIAs for BitUSD. Now I don't know if that is what I will do. Something else may make more sense. At a minimum it will impact my UIA marketing.

Please help me understand what impacts, if any, the BitAsset 3.0 proposal has on existing User Issued Assets.
  • What is the relation between BitAsset Market Issued Assets, User Issued Assets and BitAsset 3.0?
  • What are the potential risks to existing User Issued Assets (issuers and holders) when BitAsset 3.0 enters the market?

User issue assets has nothing to do with BitAssets 1.0 2.0 3.0
