Thanks for your help! Renaming AdobeAAMDetect.plugin to AdobeAAMDetect.backup.plugin seems to have addressed the issue with Adobe; while still allowing me to use the Adobe plugin as usual.

I'm running into a conflict between an Adobe plugin and the  .9 wallet.

(when I follow these instructions, I've still not been able to get my wallet working...but that's for another post).

Here's the warning I get:
BitShares has detected the Adobe Application Manager plug-in is installed on this computer at /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/AdobeAAMDetect.plugin. This plug-in crashes when loaded into BitShares. Please remove this plug-in and restart BitShares.

This plug-in is essential for my daily work. Does anyone know a work-around?

What I did was renamed AdobeAAMDetect.plugin to AdobeAAMDetect.plugin.backup. Was surprised to find all my Adobe apps continue to work fine.. but if Adobe complains you should be able to just change it back.

On the bright side, I bet you're becoming quite the hacker just through trying to get the BitShares client to work ;)
