i am using a mac wallet...
how can i see which version i use? when i check for updates it says there are no updates...

Yeah, that check for updates menu item was just enabled in the latest 0.9.1 release.

When you first start up the BitShares client, it should say which version you're running, right under the password field upon login.

Here's the 0.9.1 download for your Mac:
https://bitshares.org/binaries/BitShares-0.9.1.dmg

here's the main download page too:
https://bitshares.org/get-started

Hope this helps a bit. I'm just about to go to bed (I'm in Munich) so I may have to catch up with you again tomorrow if you need me again.
Let me know if I helped though, thanx @Marky0001 :)

You can see the version when you enter the wallet password in the beginning. I think your wallet is out of date. Here's the link

Hi @Marky0001 I'm sorry to hear you hate the wallet. I assume you're using a Mac or Windows with the downloaded version, right?
I use Linux with v0.9.1 myself with no probs. It does take about 5 hours to download the blockchain and sync the first time but after that, it's bee smooth as silk for me.

Have you tried the web wallet? https://wallet.bitshares.org (not sure if that one does NOTEs just yet though.
MetaExchange allows you to trade MOONFUND and I think he's working on NOTEs now too.
The Moonstone wallet should be released in the next couple weeks if you'd rather just use that one. I'm stoked about Moonstone, he's crammed the entire exchange in there, it looks pretty sweet.

We're as anxious for the new version as you. Let me know if any of the options above will work though.
Thanx :)
