From bitcointalk:

There's also another huge thing implemented in this release

A web server to explore decentralized websites hosted on block chain
Credits to agran

Just open your wallet and visit http://127.0.0.1:9083/

that's a huge feature and brought me to qora yesterday. how do you submit websites?

edit: search for favdesu  :)

You will need to place the HTML code to the Value field of the registered name that you want to use and submit it.
Make sure the size will be 4.000 bytes maximum ( you can count it here: https://mothereff.in/byte-counter ).
You can use this HTML generator: http://sanusart.github.io/html-now to generate the HTML code easily and to preview it, use this: http://codebeautify.org/htmlviewer/

This weekend Qora should reach block 99,000 and AT will be enabled. The first ACCT will then occur with Burst.  Here's some more updates.

Replace in settings.json

Code: [Select]
“weballowed”:[
“127.0.0.1”
],
to

Code: [Select]
“weballowed”:[
],

And your qora web server available from the Internet. http://123.123.123.123:9083

Add to settings.json

Code: [Select]
“webport”:80,
Will open without specifying the port. http://123.123.123.123

If you have a domain name, it will look like a regular website.

I have begun work on designing a new AT that will allow for discovery of “offers” for ACCTs (which will be the main way that decentralised coin trading can occur using AT).

The web server will redirect to the url stored in your alias.. It's really simple actually nothing ground breaking with that.

bitshares doesn't offer this for example...

its just a name alias lookup and redirect... like if bitshares accounts have URL's which they do and its a simple RPC lookup of that bitshares account URL and redirect your browser to it lol! ASFAIK

I was one of the first ppl that brought Ian's work to attention here infact if you read the bct thread you will see ,e try to convince him to run as a delegate. It's great if we get it included in bitshares his work is good.

Its the AT and ACCT that are the really important features imo.  I haven't even heard that this web thing was coming until today.

My Qora is doing so much better than my BTS....

Yeah, right, with 24 hour volume of $840

Yeah Qora is a tiny coin, doesnt take much money to move it, not a lot of liquidity.

When I say my Qora is doing better than my BTS, I mean that a month or two back when BTS was 3000-3500 and Qora was 6, I bought some Qora.  And now its up to 8 while BTS got cut in half.
