That is a good list thanks.
I don't have much MMC but I may use some to buy a couple things to support the economy of MMC.
Keep up the great work you guys.
Thanks

Hey seraphim, I think it would be better to list Coaex in a new "Stores" section below "Markets" on memorycoin.org when MMC payments are enabled cause listing Coaex in Markets is a bit confusing. There, you can add all the stores on CoinPayments accepting MemoryCoin such as Retrotowers, Cryptocoin Stuff, BitStickers, etc.

Here's a list of merchants accepting MemoryCoin now

Retro Towers - http://www.retrotowers.co.uk
Cryptocoin Stuff - http://www.cryptocoinstuff.com
BitStickers - http://bitstickers.net
meplus1 - http://www.meplus1.com
EC Habit - http://www.echabit.com

I'm checking this list time to time, can let you know once a store starts accepting MMC.

We need more support!

It's hard enough to pay 10 translators with the current grant amount*value, losing the position to the spoil address periodically makes it even worse...

Well, the number of merchants is limited for now. In case of an increment of this number which I totally believe, you may need a better placement, maybe another tab (menu item/page).
Since a re-design of the official page is considered nowadays, I have no idea where to place merchant section for the future.

The "looking for translators" post on the homepage has been quite successful: russian translation was completely redone by a professional, italian and french are being worked on

The chinese New Year is approaching, we started a giveaway on http://www.newsmth.net/nForum/#!article/Tuhao/13051 which promotes mining on MMCPool

Please don't forget to vote for us if you want us to keep up that work!

Welcome :)

Check out horizontality.org in the forums - they may need some translating from French :)

Hi Guys,

i am new here but i think memory coin and his community are the most organized and serious coin in the altcoin jungle, i start mining a week ago. It took me some time to figure out how to get the most of my cpu but thanks to yam for linux i manage to do allright :) I ll be glad to help with translation or other support task.

In the real life i am an IT engineer working on Openstack. I currently live in Paris.

Cheers,

What if I want the best never-fail linux distro min-setup auto-install script for a production run of gpu farms?

This is the script I run on my linux machines, works perfectly. Replace with your own dropbox yam miner and yam config.

#! /bin/bash
wget [link to dropbox yam-yvg1900-M7j-linux64-ivy-bridge.tgz]
tar zxvf yam-yvg1900-M7j-linux64-ivy-bridge.tgz
cd yam-yvg1900-M7j-linux64-ivy-bridge
cd linux64-ivy-bridge
wget [link to dropbox yam-mmc.cfg]
./yam --config yam-mmc.cfg

On the newb guide, maybe add a "9. Next Steps" at the end.

Maybe link to more advanced topics or pages on mmcwiki or something?

What search engine or knowledge base do I type that into, and how long do I have to wait for a result?

I put the mining guide on our to-do list, waiting a bit for a volunteer to do it before I start.

Max's Mine shall sponsor development and maintenance of such a guide in the mmcwiki.com site.

Max's Mine seeks to be a virtual mining cooperative with existing pool operators, miners, and officers in order to accumulate mint MMC for future projects:

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=2518.msg31213#msg31213

Max's Mine may partner with existing pools to offer a premium service tier with additional benefits and promotions.  Max's Mine is currently promoting dwarfpool.com:

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=2535.0

This project would benefit Max's Mine, Dwarfpool, CSO, CNO, CTO, existing members, and future members.

Max Mine shall deploy user GrandPWR to oversee development.  GrandPWR may campaign for candidate positions to fund development and appoint deputy positions.

Officers may accept project first and oversee development to prevent GrandPWR from campaigning on behalf of project.

A mining guide like this, kept up to date with the latest techniques would be good -

PM'd you about the french translation.

Updates:
- we needed to make a change in the translation plugin, which screwed some of our old work. Transition should be completed today.
- Newbie guide is ready and waiting to be published
- working on a platform to offer/request goods and services for MMC

And of course we're busy with the ongoing support work.
