The link on the faucet webpage still isn't right.

"How to Register a BitShares Account" links to http://bytemaster.bitshares.org/tutorial/2015/01/03/How-to-Register-a-BitShares-Account/, which redirects to plain old https://bitshares.org/.

Surely it should go to something more like https://bitshares.org/register/?

This simple problem could potentially stop many people from 'joining' BitShares...

I just meant on this forum, does using '@member' notify the member.

I will get a forum dump today/tomorrow so i can test and install the @mention hack/plugin before it will go live!
Sounds good? Also Dite (BitSapphire) gave me access to at least forum theme folders via FTP .. so i'll able to work on the theming ... once UI etc is published ...

Does the faucet have anti-automation measures in place? If not, perhaps this needs to be a priority before it gets abused by name squatters.

edit: I raised the issue in another thread and fav said:

don't think so. you have to auth with social networks, so it's probably too hard to set up.

So that sounds good...

If anyone wants to collect old content I can see about creating a general Archive section or something at some point. But for the time being most legacy content is low priority for me.

Dan or Stan might have copies of some of the old documents/papers.
