Interesting, Bit-X is traded in the OTC market.

I don't think they are the same company. This OTC is a Canadian company.. and I could not find any ties to Bit-X the card in relation to this listing.
Yea it looks like you are right, different companies/websites.

Not directly related to CCEDK i guess but thought i would share it. Some people's opinions.

I was about to answer, but think whoever is giving answer is explaining quite good and calmly to someone obviously not ready to take reason, and I think even repulsive in his ways of writing it makes me want to leave that link right away.

Hey man, congrats to your nano card. Are there any hassles in getting one like the need for bills of residency?

Thanks very much,

Not on the base of level 1, please do have a good look at thelink I gave above to CCEDK nanocard page. IT will also show you limits and fees for the time being at least.

One thing is for sure, fees will only be reduced, they will not increase.

I am a nanocard owner...How can I check/identify if I am one of the first 10.000 owners?

It will be announced on site when this no longer applies, we will put a date, and everyone before that date will then be under that amount of registrars entitled to have no monthly fees for life.

Once we have a referral system up in connection with bitshares network launch of bitshares 2.0, we will also start offering anyone referring to others the Nanocard, a certain percentage of the fees for life, so it should not only be a save, but essentially a gain to be among the first 10000 Nanocard users! :)

So to sum up:

The first 10000 registrars of a NanoCard on CCEDK site https://www.ccedk.com/nanocard will have the monthly fee of 0,02 btc waivered for life, and obviosly save 0,24 per year in fees

The very same users will be able to benefit from referring the NanoCard to other users, and this way receive a not yet calculated percentage of the fees obtained from these users they have referred, also for life!

It might very well be that only the first 10000 users will have this option of referral, at least in terms of size in percentage to make it extra attractive to b among the first users.

* Can we activate Nanocard on CCEDK and use it?
* Nanocard.eu (*RIP Server) last status according to google "Coming soon. Late 2015."

you are able to have ity activated on our partner site Bit-x, untill we will be able to do it ourselves. The information sofar received from meeting today is that we will finally start the integration process next week for CCEDK, so this is coming soon now, but card is available on other platform, and is mentioned many different places, and alo on our own webpage: https://www.ccedk.com/nanocard

the official nanocard.eu webpage is another story, and in that sense yoou are perfectly right. It is an issue I have taken up with our partner offering thi project to bth Bit-x and CCEDK, that it i hard to promote the product Nanocard if the site is still parked with mentioned information, hence the recent links in media only to ccedk webpage, untill this one is fully up and running.

Many angles are expected to be considered for the design of this site, so he is late, but will be up with a site offering various services supporting CCEDK and partners.

nanocard is on the verge of overhype, be careful ccedk.

can u explain what u mean @fav
I think he wanted to say that you better lay low now with advertising NanoCard because you may have reached most people that are interested already ..
Unless you have a new way to reach a whole bunch of different people .. posting yet another NanoCard advertisement into twitter/facebook/reddit may result a negative perception by some

this and well, nanocard as it's being advertised is just hot air. better focus on delivering the product first, then hype.

I hear your point, but doubt I have reached even 1% of the potential, which is still ok when we need to direct users to Bit-x for activation, which i asume is what you mean with not ready yet, what I do need is to reach out to the ones still not aware, which is of course hard to discover, as laying low is not an issue when you have less than two months for a potential wallet structure, and wish to reach out to as many as possible before that.

It's always a balance, but preselling is a vital part of a card like this, and that part is probably bnever going to be enough.

@fav Why you say the NanoCard is hot air, the product is already out there, so not sure what you mean!

You are most probably right in that part, so i will reconsider my approach at least when it comes to frequent users of forums and bitcoin users in general.

Can I bind the card with my name? Since many companies want the deposit to have the same name on card like they registered clients... like on trading platforms... is it possible?

binding the card possibility will be added as an extra service soon, but is not available right now

@ccedk

any update? I am waiting to activate my card at your site. I don't want to pay 0.05 BTC more to bit-x
I have already payed 0.1 BTC to CCEDK

Can I bind the card with my name? Since many companies want the deposit to have the same name on card like they registered clients... like on trading platforms... is it possible?
The upfront fee should be claimed to be 0.15BTC. many users have been complaining about the 'hidden' fee.

yes, I understand it might need to be more clear, it seems the price for the card it self is not mentioned on the list with limits and fees, so we will add that now.

@liondani we are still not ready with a date for being able to activate on CCEDk, sorry about that, but may well know more end of the week after meeting tomorrow with the partners involved on the financila side of Nanocard.

I realize based your comment here but also on others that we will maybe have to mention where the cost of card as well as the cost of mailing the card is mentioned, that an activation fee will be required when at this time.

I think we did not add this in the beginning because we felt no need to mention a cost only asked for when activation is needed, and full list of costs are mentioned on the list with limits and fees, so we throught bascially that it was clear enough.

We will see what we cna do on that side, to mention it earlier as well, obviously with many comments it is clea, that it is not clear.

you don't have to rebrand... just buy an easier to spell domain and point it. I will register a domain if they add the bitshares registrar affiliate program :)

danishcryptox.com is free for example. or some cce.randomtld is open too

@still not sure how the bitshares registrar affiliate program works, and how CCEDK can make use of this to make all at bitshares network make money referring to ccedk

Good stuff. I got my NanoCard in the mail the other day :). I am going to wait until I can "Bind" (activate?) it on ccedk.com. Is that still going to happen or are we in wait mode for BTS2.0?

Still happening for sure, just had a talk with the backend devs, and the nanocard integration work is starting from tomorrow same time as they start with Ripple integration. So we should be ready to welcome all activation sometime week after.

It's always hard to put a date on integration, but we are moving on week-by-week basis at the moment which should tell a little about how close we are.

@ccedk: the double fee (one from ccedk one from bit-x) is a bit strange.. would you mind clarifying ?

@kenCode: brother, can we get a picture of the card?

I see you have been all very active today. I turn my back one minute an take a rest, an you guys are all active here leaving me with a lot of open questions. :) ;) Will try to all tomorrow ok?

With above point I will try to look into this. I have a feeling it is simply due to the doubloe booking we are having at the moment. Will try to see what can bee done about that up untill the time we we have the system up an running on CCEDK, I am told 10-14 days from now.

My card came today. Do I have to activate it and pay again at the Bit-x site as @kencode did or should I wait until the CCEDK system is up and running?

I would say it is really up to you. It will not cost you eventually when you want to return to CCEDK once they are up within the next 7-10 days so it depends on whether you want to enjoy it right away or wait it out a little bit more.

Love what you're doing.

I can't remember exactly how the referral program works now, but I would like to know whether you will be in a position to share referral commission, as the registrar of new Bitshares accounts, to affiliate marketers who send you new users? I for one would be interested in promoting your service if this was the case.

I would love to share the future wealth if that ever should happen, as I never believe in getting somewhere only on my own!

1) 100% agree with your philosophy that sharing the wealth with those who help you get there is important...

2) I will certainly be having more conversations with you so don't worry about wrapping your head around the benefits of bitshares.  Remember when we talked last time and you said you can talk forever?  Just so happens you found someone who has a similar penchant :P

3) this community is among the best in crypto so feel free to continue letting us know what you need.  I'll gladly hold hangouts so we can further update them on how to help you.

@ccedk
I've got the Nanocard story in 2 more media outlets now:

I hope to get it published on two additional european sites tonight as well..

Good job ken.

I got my Nanocard in the mail today, THAT WAS FAST! :)

The piece of paper that the card was wrapped up in had some instructions that said I needed to go to bit-x.com to activate it.
I went there, they made me create an account with them. ::)
They wanted another .05BTC (~11 euros) from me (in addition to the 20 I paid CCCEDK). >:(
I went to metaexchange, sold 1700BTS for Bitcoin and had that bitcoin sent directly to my new bit-x account.
I then was able to activate my Nanocard with the .05BTC.
Now I have a card that is active.
It's a debit card (it comes with a PIN number), and a Mastercard credit card which is awesome. :)

FUNDING THE CARD..

1. Ok, now if I understand this correctly, the https://nanocard.eu website will merge CCEDK and bit-x.. One UI for both accounts?
2. So, I can prioritize how the card gets funded, directly from my CCEDK account, (or BitShares 2.0 wallet) right?
3. I mean, at some point, we won't really ever need to access those websites again, right?

Are you concerned about serving US citizens without being registered as an MSB in the US ( you may be registered, I don't know)?

Can I pay with the nano card everywhere mastercard is accepted or where is it accepted?
The article says "anywhere major debit cards are accepted". Would an example for a debit card be my bank card?

Everywhere Mastercard is accepted ...

edit: Is youe Bank Card a debit card? Sry get a bit confused ... was thinking debit cards are prepaid cards.. mh ok if i take a look ..my bank card is a debit card on this definition also ..
debit and prepaid I guess is the same. My bank card is a debit card.
I guess I would actually use the nanocard service if it is accepted anywhere mastercard is accepted

Just a quick comment here. Debit card and prepaid are as such the same if talking fiat as such, but since we are talking bitcoins right now and later on smartcoins for instance as fiat pegged but still crypto it is defined as debit card as the funds will only be converted to fiat at the very moment funds are used/spent either as withdrawal cash or paying bills in restaurants etc. The prepaid card you are acually topping up the card with fiat ready to be used when u need cash.

The nanocard is accepted anywhere mastercard is, and NanoCard is meant now and in future as the brand name for this type of card. Bit-x mentioned would pretty soon ince we are able to activate on CCEDK be changed to CCEDK unless you decide to pay for having it embossed meaning having your name mentioned there instead of either Bit-x or CCEDK
Maybe mention big and fat "accepted anywhere mastercard is accepted" in texts where the nanocard is advertised. I couldn't find this quickly enough.

And there is no need to verify your identity to cash out money at an atm with the nano card?
What means "no limitations" for registered / verified users? See "No verification necessary: No need to verify your identity in order to use the Bitcoin Debit NanoCard (verification will enable unlimited use)." (https://www.ccedk.com/nanocard)

CCEDK, Ever since you removed the bts-btc trading pair, the link https://www.ccedk.com/bts-btc for it is broke, maybe it needs to be redirected or contact CMC for their link to be removed for now because it appears on http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitshares/#markets

I see there's a general election in Denmark tomorrow @ccedk. Are there any outcomes which you know would particularly affect your business?

Well not really, but because of the election I did not manage to get Bloomberg nor Thomson Reuters in on the news as they both said all there people was fully involved with the election.

And on top of all, there are no good choice to vote on tomorrow, shoul have run myself really :)

Hi CCEDK -

Regarding this page: https://www.ccedk.com/account/nanocard/order

Note that the Delivery section has fields for Postal Address, City, Country and Zip Code, but nothing for STATE or PROVINCE. I included my State after the City, just so you have it.

Addresses in the US and Canada would require State or Province fields. FYI.

Thanks, got it.

When signing up for an account on CCEDK it says:
"two factory authentification."

I am sure it supposed to be "two factor authentication" right?

The spelling initially made me think I had hit a phishing site. Please change if incorrect.

Also there are many sites out there pretending to be bitcoin exchanges and they have many spelling mistakes.

Thank you it will be changed tomorrow, I expect. Duly noted. It is a pure typo erro and will be fixed.

I have not had a chance to fully get the grip on all of the good stuff Bitshares network if offering as my main priority was to get started and then move forwar with philosophy - we rise together and together we become big and finally with synergies as base foundation there is no shaky house.

Good to hear such a positive response from you, I'll look forward to hearing what percentage you can offer  ;)

there's a registrar (you) and a marketer. the marketer can send you referrals in return you share percentage of their commisions. bitshares.org is going to share 50% for example

Crypto Currency Exchange Denmark?  I actually like the term CCEDK...

The official name is Crypto Coins Exchange Denmark ApS, of which one of the lower level names connected with company is CCEDK.

Changing the name, I have always felt that once you spend trying to remember, once you do, you will never forget, and It will then stand out compared to others. But nothing in this world is 100% sure, well not much at least.

It would be pleasure to assist Ronny if he would principial consider a rebrand .. but a brand name change ... is not that easy,
especially not for Ronny i guess .. CCEDK is his baby  .. so … though decision ... i will support you no matter you will decide ..

True, but I will at least consider buying CCDEC... I have always pronounced it "See See Deck" as well and today I realized it is not even close to being correct...
The DK part stands for Denmark

It's true that renaming can be a pain! But if it's a big announcement and goes hand in hand with an updated gui and logo (I like the kangeroo :) but not super suited for a financial platform?) it can be a gain in itself.

Name suggestion: DeTrade (for decentralized trading)

There must be something tricking the brain into this [using links to access it does not help probably] maybe simple split to "CCE DK" will do the trick?

It could be great if as many as possible on this forum could give some feedback and comments to this article I do on Linkedin,a s it is also boosted on facebook, all the nice comments will get out there best way possible. Thanks

and dont forget to support the nanocard via any of the social network options mentioned in regards to the headtalker campaign there, simply created to make some hype on the NanoCard, so that once we have it supported by Smartcoins, this powerful campaign will then go live as well, thanks.

I usually say it "See See Deck" even though I know that's probably a horrible bastardization of the actual acronym.

I say that as well and then people look for CCDEK and get all confused when they hit up google.

Ronny,

congratulations first of all to making all this happen!

have you thought about naming the exchange something else? I had a hard time remembering the name! Even today I have to think for a while until I have arranged all the letters in my head. And it has 5 syllables :) All big companies have at most 2: Google, Yahoo, Apple, NASDAQ, LMAX.....

+1 on renaming :)   I can never pronounce it and even if I say it right, it is often heard wrong.  It is a major stumbling block in word-of-mouth marketing.
