This approach is what will move the bigger ones as well. When we reach a tipping point of more users or large group of users using the Super DEX, then those users at other networks are going to cry out for the move because now their liquidity is not looking as hot as they would like it to be compared to what they will see here.

We don't need to do a coinomat btc to vote type contest either.. we can just make it social.. like/tweet stuff perhaps for example.. anything that sends a clear signal from users that the exchange that is named is being asked by its own users to do this
I like the idea of one tweet = one vote, but why would we only want one winner?
Surely every single exchange signing up is the goal?

The problem I see with a vote is that nobody even knows bts exists yet. If we're going to market to people in order to tell them there's a vote going on - then wouldn't it be better to market to people that BTS ACTUALLY EXISTS, lol

Could we set up the vote in such a way that the exchanges themselves would be able to host the polling?
All the votes could be tallied on bts, demonstrating how versatile it is, but the users of the exchange in question immediately see the vote!
If there is a way for the exchange to profit regardless of the voting outcome, then they could be encouraged to do it. It would have to be easy though.
UIA? For large-targets bts shareholders may even wish to contribute to cover the setup fees, so the exchange can operate the poll for free, but still profit somehow.

Not sure if it's possible but it could be great

Some interesting takes here.

I agree that the big exchanges are not going to move on this overnight. You need exchanges that have little substance to them as they are now. Criteria to look for would low to no volume, and small user base. These smaller ones might be an exchange for some particular alt coins that just don't have any other exchanges supporting them, and that is what keeps a small user base running to them after their coin got mined and the miner wants to convert to BTS.. whups.. BTC. :)

Anyways... why don't we do this coinomat style? Lets make it a contest! Lets have some fun with BitShares.

Create as big of a list as we can.. of all the small exchanges.
Create a site like coinomat where each exchange is voted in BY ANYONE INCLUDING THEIR USERS.
The WINNER will get an official invite and offer to be put on the 2.0 Super DEX

This is just one way to do it.. but the point is not to be reaching out directly to the exchange, but get their user base calling for the move... ultimately they are going to decide what the exchange is going to do, and if you can get them calling for this, then they will do it.

This approach is what will move the bigger ones as well. Anyhow.. this is how I think it might be more interesting in the approach, and will garner better support at the right pressure points.

 +5% for starting this.

step by step :)

I think it would be better to contact each exchange directly with a "personal" email that specifies exactly how they stand to benefit from BitShares integration.

this! and with coordination and - see my comment above :)

IMHO, the key of success is how small exchanges build agreements each other and how they make market between their IOUs.

Btc38 should be a top target imo.

The top exchanges are not thinking of changing their system over to ours. They would alienate their core users. We need to focus of the small and medium ones who have something to gain in the short term. By the time large exchange realize what's happening they will be obsolete anyway.

A post on BTT would probably be lost in the noise of the angry mob.
Small exchanges would be best I think

Can we get any input from @CCEDK ?
Are there any specific partnerships you guys are targetting?
How should one sell BitShares to an existing exchange?

Indeed, small exchanges want to be able to compete with the bigger ones so, since they don't have the volume, their only choice is to adapt the technology in hopes of growing, those should be our targets.

Also, what about Bter? It got hacked but before, it seemed to mantain a good relationship with BitShares, aswell as btc38, what if we went for those? Btc38 would be awesome!

I thought about creating a thread there, to get us more exposure to exchanges and other services that could potentially use our exchange. After all, we're offering a service right? Only it's free and comes with benefits to its users.

A pool would be nice, to see which services people would like to join us. I'm very very curious about that but at the same time it kind of seems to desperate.

What do you think? It would be nice to engage with other coins/projects/exchanges/services there. Let's get others to use BitShares and grow our network!
