@Stan this appears to have been solved now.

And as a side bonus, at least bitUSD will be available on the next Bitsquare release.

I am trying to raise awareness that adding other smartcoins would also be clever.

To clarify, someone officially affiliated with steemit should contact the bitsquare guys to get SteemUSD added.

@Stan it's not the whales it needs, just a post from someone who officially works with steemit .. it's a bitsquare rule, it must be someone affiliated with the coin that makes the request to get it added.

A week or so ago I wrote a post on steemit about using Bitsquare with SteemUSD, and explaining that action on the part of the community is necessary to get it added (someone that works for steemit must make the official request, I was hoping to get their attention if the post surged).

Original: https://steemit.com/money/@karnal/how-to-convert-usd-to-steemusd-in-one-step

Unfortunately it didn't go that way, and the thread over at the bitsquare forum is still stalled:

If you would like to see SteemUSD added to Bitsquare, help me make some noise!

@Stan ?

I'm afraid I can't help you much with the Steem whales.
