wow Thanks all (@Brekyrself @hammurabi @Chronos @fav  @yvv @lil_jay890 @mf-tzo sorry if I have missed someone) for responding... when I read/got through the last 100 posst I was hoping [but not really expecting] for at least a single answer. So once again Thanks to all helping me not go through 10 tons of shit to find nothing! I do appreciate it.

@mf-tzo - you are on a roller coaster man... last thing I read from you was highly optimistic post of yours on Steemit [and yes, I do read Steemit a bit more often than btsforum.... mainly because of the amusement factor which is 10x higher right now (for what I find amusing in/with Steem read the next paragraph)] praising both BTS and Steem as a great buy... LOL What changed your mind? Sudden drop in blood pressure (and by pressure I mean price falling like a rock...rock falling on a planet 5x bigger than earth with no atmosphere?

@lil_jay890 I do not remember what you called (expected from/for) Steem in its early days... but it has always been my take that "Steem will be one of the most spectacular failures that the crypto world has ever seen (and crypto has seen more than its fair share of all kinds of BS as you know). Weirdly enough these posts of mine are now no where to be found on bitsharestalk.org ????

Lack of arbitrage is the problem, isn't it. And this 'should' solves it.

While not post related, liquidity has come a long way the last few months.  There is actually support on both sides of popular BTS markets.

https://cryptofresh.com/charts also shows a general up trend in fill orders, transfers, and account creations.

Unfortunately, there is not much actual content these days. I wish I could tag certain accounts so they do not show in "unread posts" view. I tire of the endless ICO pumping.

I'm personally bullish on BTS right now. Time will tell.

Have been off of here (once my favorite place on the net) for months.

Is there any non spam/ non scam/ non idiotic promotions/ etc content  I should read?.

Sorry but the scam wall of posts by Compuseeds, followed by other almost equally deceiving posts by Obits (and or their other 20th ICO project), with no quality in between, just makes me  to want to puke.

nah

Yeah, not much to read here lately besides shitty ICO promotions. Get a good puke bucket and happy reading. :)

@GChicken seriously?? Even if me2 is bytemaster and bought 131k brownies.pts,  at bts 4-6 which corresponds in dollar terms at that time c$0.02-$0.03 you consider this a favor when most of those brownies people spent $0.06 - $0.12 per brownie 1 year ago?

Stealth, c-ipfs, BlockPay and the Smartcoins Wallet are going strong, I always post my weekly updates here on the forum (general thread, under BlockPay heading) and on steemit:

lil-jay890 - In regards to larimer lemmings being burnt on steem; i am a larimer supporter (despite feeling a bit unloved at the moment, the platform that was left for us is top shelf, it does need some further development i will agree but the base products function well and we have budget to pay core devs) so back to steem... i am not an early adopter, i did not mine but i am very far from burnt from the experience . sorry if your faith did not stretch that far that you were around to hear from the horses mouth and get involved. A lot of members from this community did very well, directly from their support of Dan and his visions.

Lot's of people got rich on paper via steem, few (preminer's) made some money... but the market was totally illiquid and they probably had it all in steem power and have watched their riches and dreams of never having to work again die a slow drawn out death.

Not sure what you qualify as "did very well", but I wouldn't classify steem going from $400 million market cap to $34 million as doing well. Yeah they got some bitcoin celebs out there to pump their steem coin, but it has been a slow steady bleed that rarely has even an uptick.  Classic investment vehicle courtesy of Dan the man.

wow, this escalated quickly  :(

the forum has been quiet but not as hostile for a long while now.

Hi Tonyk; there is some interesting threads on Blockpay, Peerplays, Transres and OpenLedger as well as some smaller project looking grow and the merger ending should be a welcome sign for all holders.

newmine - it is an interesting time that you happened to be in the neighbourhood and thought they may stop in and say 'hi'; haven't seen you for months and all of a sudden the merger is finishing and the sun it starting to shine and bang.... here you are.. like magic... i do agree with one of your points that Bitshares is a gamechanger not sure if that comment matches your context exactly but there is a lot of potential for Bitshares; which i know you must recognise despite perceived execution.

mf-tzo - In regards to brownie.pts how do we know that 'me2' is not bytemaster? this account currently holds 230,000 brownies and bought half of that at market (i watched it happen); the other half was orders around 4-6bts

Bitshares has a lot of untapped potential and the only reason the forums are so quiet is because there is a very active conversation elsewhere and members from Bitshares were first inline to try out steem so are active in that community also.

so i guess i'm going to get slammed now, but in the end one of us will be right and one of us will be wrong (and if that is me; i can live with that). Time will tell and until then it is all speculation.. but the proof is in the pudding; Bitshares as it stands today has far better tech than majority of its competition; and its competition can generally only compete against 1 or 2 features within Bitshares arsenal.

are you fearful?? because i am feeling greedy  ;D  +5%

Why hang out here when you can get unlimited free money for liking posts of half naked chicks on steem???

The fuckage of bitshares holders via the merger was bad, but the pure desecration of the larimers lemmings via steem has been awesome to watch. I remember when I said steem was a scam to manipulate coin market cap, that I had "zero vision". But now that steem has run its investor screwing course, it's probably time for cnx to release another "innovative" vehicle to run over investors with.  Wonder what it will be called... Plasma? Graphene 2.0?

@tonyk I missed you man..It is very lonely here and indeed a lot of spam..My favorite forum is no longer interesting at all...

@NewMine I even missed your troll around here.. Having said that it appears that actually most of the things you were saying were not all troll but you were right about many things...

@bytemaster : I doubt that you will even bother reading this forum any more but in case you do so, the least you can do is at least buy back the brownies.pts that were supposed to be the token supporting you and showed confidence in your future success. It seems that you did make a lot of money with steem, you even mentioned at some point that you will reward brownie.pts holders depending on your final steems amount and so far nothing yet... I have by now lost any confidence in you and this is just sad mate...

At least there are a lot of people still trying and support and develop bts.. @xeroc , @fuzzy, @kenCode, @ccedk  and others are heroes among this community that will hopefully make bts successful. So keep calm and patient people! Bts is and will always be an amazing project!

Is this the end? Too bad. I still have shares stuck in a wallet with too many keys to upload.

I have seen this happen to other coins, which signaled the end. The forum always turns into a ghost town and the market cap drops and drops.

I really dont think it has anything to do with Dan and Stan leaving for their new scam but rather that they didnt leave sooner. Like before the merger or before bts 2.0.

After the fuck ups of this project, I dont even follow any coin besides BTC. They all promise the world but have zero fuctionality beyond what bitcoin already does. Its a shame because I really think had BTSX been worked on and the market been delivered as sold, it wouldve been a game changer. But, nope. Dan, Stan and friends had to suck as much money out as they possibly could killing the market cap. Then users started leaving. And less users meant less money to suck out. And off the suckers went looking for a new class of idiots.

Ill predict that steem will continue to fall and within 6 months the Cryptonomex crew will concoct a new plan for a new coin.

Don't worry. Soon Stan and his various sockpuppet accounts - BitcoinSatan, ErlichBachman, GiantMiddleFinger,...or whatever they are all called, will be here to rebuff you.

I nearly forgot BitcoinJesus, the most important of all of them.  Let's wait for Stan to reply through the voice of God.
