Any luck on Daily USD Volume Charts? That would be a nice add for your report, wouldn't be hard to track, and doesn't exist anywhere (not sure why explorers for BTS haven't bothered with such a chart.)

Only way i have found that i could do this is sample the rate everyday manually and then generate a chart.

This might be good item to ask Alfredo to add to his list for the block explorer he is working on.

It is a great suggestion and would be really useful to be able to see the trend change/ most popular day for trading ect.

I did try asking him a few times but it seemed to upset him a bit.

But anyways, good job adding total number off accts with BTS.

Not sure if it had turned into an official discussion, these were just names being thrown around in discord and telegram. i know the vote proxies organised a poll but that was just between the largest delegates to gauge the pros and cons of such a move

Another idea is total Week over Week (or day over day) volume for the Bitshares Dex in USD for ALL assets, then divided by smartcoins and UIA. This doesn't currently exist anywhere.

Bitshares and EOS are different platforms. EOS is designed to be a generalized smart contracts platform like Ethereum, but borrowing some of the concepts from Bitshares and Steem (both were founded by Dan Larimer who is building EOS).

So, in answer to your questions; If you want to be part of EOS, you need to hold EOS tokens. Holding Bitshares does not entitle you to any share of EOS. EOS is using the Ethereum platform to distribute tokens, so you can buy some Ethereum and then send them to a special address and this will reserve you some EOS tokens. See https://eos.crowdsale.es/ for details. EOS tokens *may* at some point in the future also be available on the Bitshaes DEX (Distributed EXchange), probably via a gateway like OpenLedger.io (https://openledger.io)

Second question; Although EOS was built by the same guy that built Bitshares, its not clear (yet) what concepts (if any) will be applicable to Bitshares. There are lots of discussions going on in Bitshares development circles about how Bitshares and EOS may interact (or Bitshares may enhance itself with new technologies being built for EOS), but since EOS hasn't actually been built yet it's a bit early to know. Can someone point me in the direction of an article or podcast that explains the makeup of bitshares in relevance to EOS?  My question seems to be fairly simple,  but I cannot find an answer. 

My question is,  if I own Bitshares coins how do i benefit from EOS being created?  Do I need to buy EOS as well,  or will there eventually be a "Merger" with Steem, BTS and EOS?

Any input is welcomed.  I am very new to the community!
