True, but sad that so much of the "dumb money" out there goes to charlatans instead of the deserving.

Bitshares is a working system with several positive attributes (fast transactions, low fees, etc) yet it is not in the top 20 of cryptos. (It's now #28.)

The crypto world is a game right now - it's fantasy football for techies. It's driven by enthusiasm, hysteria, rumors and ample dosages of pumping on social platforms. It's not driven by rational analysis. Eventually reason will prevail but it could be an extended time before that happens. Until then resign yourself to fluffy companies with no product but enthusiastic Youtube videos to be overvalued.
