This client is current and works great for sending and receiving Bitshares PTS (formerly known as Protoshares). It's the Bitshares XT client we're waiting for at this point.

Then why was there a an announcment saying to make sure we have our PTS in our wallet on the 28th o_O

also, if I purchase some more PTS now, will I still receive the bit shares from the new PST?

Bitshares don't exist yet. Where are all these people getting the assumption that bitshares is done?

ok, so I donwloaded the PTS wallet from http://protoshares.net/ about two weeks ago. Today I just downloaded the new wallet from the OP. how to I receive the Bitshares? I dont see them in my wallets. i've tried reading through a few posts but im still at lost on whats going on exactly. please help!

EDIT: I know Bitshares-PTS is just a rebranded wallet, but still dont have any bitshares after downloading it.

I'm having issues trying to get the wallet to show.  As soon as I open it it goes into the tray and I can't get it to pop up on my screen.  Even uninstalling/reinstalling doesn't fix the issue.

Edit:

Turns out the wallet doesn't like to Show when I have my 1440p monitor set as my main display.

You right, but I test this release at Mac OSX 10.9.1 with and without Qt installed.
I will look deeper for this.
