recovering balance in wallet

Stop everything, power down - check for data recovery / undelete program or company and send to them...then pray...

Unless you backup your wallet.dat file, you cannot recover your balance.
you can backup your wallet.dat file on the GUI.

I took the steps to backup my wallet.dat in two physical locations to make sure I won't lose my MMC.

You can use bter.com to hold them or even an online paper wallet.

i did a pc migration, ran the windows easy transfer on my pc and it overwrote an existing memorycoin wallet.
My original wallet is gone. Can I get the balance back? I have wallet address, and proof of pool mining and payouts to it..
