I recently bought a few PTS on Bter. I transferred my PTS to my wallet before realizing it was out of sync. It currently says it is synchronizing to the network. It has progressed a little. My question is will it sync completely with Yosemite and if it does will I recover my PTS or are they lost?

As long as you own the private key to your address, they can not possibly be lost. You just have to find working nodes to sync from.

Your client made offline key pair which is valid but for now your client is out of sync.
(and if you used the adress belonging to the keys you will get your pts)
Just make sure you have the latest wallet software for mac en wait for the sync to complete.

It is syncing right ?
