Hey Team Viral....

yes, site is still scheduled to go up today (I haven't heard when) but keep in mind me and the team in VA will be going through it over the weekend with further edits, so probably next week would be the time to really get the word out and push for people to check out the site.  I'm headed to Coinsummit in SF on monday to drum up some speakers/sponsors for the event and represent BitShares but after I get back I can jump in and see what you all are up to and how I can help in any way.

Seems like Brian will continue to polish the page and review the text for a few days after today. We can start today when the site launches and keep it up over the weekend, to have a sustained increase in awareness. I don't know exactly when the site launches, but I'll start working on the threads later this evening CET.

Bitcoin is downtrending, but our 7day PTS chart is looking great. We can pull this off and be the ultimate safe haven!!

It's all about coordinated effort coupled with timing.

Let's make some thunder right after the new site is released! We should target everything; Chats, Facebook, Twitter, Bitcointalk, ...

I'll be thinking up some stuff we can do at bitcointalk. Maybe unlimited_power or someone else could do Reddit? And lets all be extra chatty after the site is released.

On Bitcointalk I'm thinking we should make

1. one thread concerning the newsletter,
2. one concerning the new site,
3. one concerning the upcoming conference,
..
..

I'll post links to these threads later. Does anyone want to help me post these threads? I can create them, but it will look silly if I post all the threads x)

Additionally I want you guys to we extra vigilant with bumping these threads right after the site is released, with comments that might be appropriate and with links to the new site. (:

Let me know where you guy are coordinating. Not huge on the tech side but figure I can give some valuable inputs on the marketing end.

 

I appreciate you all taking the initiative on this and running with it. I've been working day and night on the new websites and videos (coming in one week) as well as on the event this summer so less time than I'd like to do these kind of marketing efforts.  Keep your eyes out for a sneak peek soon on the website and I'll look at what you're doing further once the dust settles over here.  B
