Proof of Productive Work (PPW)
Proof of Community Work (PCW)
Community Delegated Work (CDW)

Why do we need an "o" in the abbreviation?

BitShares are Proof of Work... we can honestly say that everyone who has a BTS had to do work to acquire them and as people continue to contribute work more are created.

It is POS and POW combined...

POSW= Proof Of Smart Work

EDIT: or better
D-POSW = Delegated Proof Of Smart Work

Profit. Not just for privileged people any more.

Can you explain this one

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

stocks are a gamble. like speculating on a rising bitcoin price.

bonds take forever to give any kind of a return.

starting one's own business requires massive amounts of capital, and if you've been able to keep your credit good enough to get a proper business loan you're doing pretty good.

the general public can't buy into privately owned companies.

even after bitshares x has reached mainstream adoption, it still creates profit that I can be a part of

is there a way I can invest 100 dollars into a sound business model (like a bank's) and get a fair return on it proportional to what I've put in that I'm overlooking? I'm not going to claim I know everything, and I'd be first in line for a great investment that doesn't cost a hundred thousand dollars...

I think the slogan for Bitshare should emphasize the counterparty exposure to alternatives (bitstamp, banks, government etc...)

To this effect:

Who do you Trust? Bitshares!
Who would you trust? Bitshares!
Where would you keep your money? Bitshares!
Government exposure vs. Decentralization
Bank trust vs. Algorithms

"Doing for business what bitcoin did for money" is cool, but it only appeals to people who've  invested in bitcoin.

Can we play around to see if there are some bitshares taglines and slogans with broader appeal?

I'll start:

"Achieving higher profits through blockchain technology"

"Revolutionizing business operations through blockchain technology"

"Streamlining businesses through blockchain technology"

"Revolutionizing business with blockchain technology"

"Revolutionizing industries through blockchain technology"

________________________

Additional slogans I've worked on, gleaned from the forum and elsewhere:

"Better Businesses through Blockchains"

"Pursuing perfection with blockchain technology"

"Perfecting business with blockchain technology"

"Optimizing business with blockchain technology"

"Pursuing perfect blockchain businesses"

"Optimizing business one blockchain at a time"

"P2P for B2B"
