stocks are a gamble. like speculating on a rising bitcoin price.
bonds take forever to give any kind of a return.
starting one's own business requires massive amounts of capital, and if you've been able to keep your credit good enough to get a proper business loan you're doing pretty good.
the general public can't buy into privately owned companies.
even after bitshares x has reached mainstream adoption, it still creates profit that I can be a part of
is there a way I can invest 100 dollars into a sound business model (like a bank's) and get a fair return on it proportional to what I've put in that I'm overlooking? I'm not going to claim I know everything, and I'd be first in line for a great investment that doesn't cost a hundred thousand dollars...
