24hr mining on a i5-2400 generates ~0.2 PTC. I clearly missed the train, and i guess mining is not worth the effort right now. ptspool workers went from 3700 yesterday to 2500 this morning.

Just on the income :D

And thus on the price?!

To the extent that increased difficulty slows down block production and thus drys up supply, it will adjust the price.   Normally mining difficulty follows price as miners join when there is a profit to be made.

Next diff will be 8-9x higher and hit in about 13 hours. (Somewhere during midnight UTC.)

I dont think this will have an impact on mining yet. Just on the income :D

Bitcoin has proved the price has no relationship to the difficulty. The only way is to find out by the market, especially when marketcap is small

Hi all,

Will PTS survive after the next difficulty change? Some say the difficulty will go sky high the next few days. From that day, PTS has to be more worth of value , otherwise it is not profitable to mine.

I'm just curious what your opinion is !
