On the bitshares wiki it sais that for BitSharesX:

Ticker Symbol: XTS   (isn't it BTSX?)
What I understood (I also asked that question somewhere)
BitShares X (abbreviation BTSX) is a term for the ecosystem banking&exchange
while
XTS is the basic unit on the blockchain in all derived chains (collaterals are payed in XTS)

Oh and I would talk about what bitassets are & how they work.  I actually forgot how awesome bit assets are and that's the whole point that's what other systems can't do atm.

Do not use this post as information for making any important decisions. The only agreements I ever make are informal and non-binding. Take the same precautions as when dealing with a compromised account, scammer, sockpuppet, etc.

BitShares X "Some Slogan"             (Expanding software screenshots like  - http://www.holdemmanager.com/buy/211/holdem-manager-2)

"BitShares X is a revolutionary new bank and exchange that could rival the value of the largest banks in the world such as JP Morgan and Bank of America in just a few years. How could this new upstart grow so quickly?  BitShares X ultimately aims to offer a bank account that earns 5% interest where funds can be transferred in seconds anywhere in the world with more privacy and security than a Swiss bank account.  Your account can never be frozen, your funds cannot be seized, and the bank can never face collapse due to loan defaults or fraud.  All of this is made possible without requiring any employees, lawyers, regulatory compliance, vaults, buildings, and other infrastructure required by traditional banks.  Unlike existing banks, you will be able to hold your balance denominated in gold, silver, oil, or other commodities in additional to national currencies while earning 5% interest.

In addition to acting as a bank, BitShares X also serves as an exchange where currencies, commodities, and stock derivatives can be traded with most of the features used by professional traders including shorts and options.   The Bank takes a cut on every transaction and pays 100% of these transaction fees as dividends to the shareholders.  BitShares X can achieve this feat using the same technology that makes Bitcoin possible, irrevocable decentralized automated consensus forming."

Sound great right, but is all this really possible?

Yes! In fact we've just released BitShares X version 1.0!

This is essentially a minimum viable product that only has basic features enabled such as .... (Something)
Other features such as  Ripple Consensus, Interest on BitAssets, Escrow Transaction, Etc.  will be added as...(Something)

Is BitShares X linked to/or run on Bitcoin?

Though you are free to buy/sell shares in BitShares X for Bitcoin or other crypto-currencies, it's completely independent.
We have even developed our own blockchain system called DPOS for it to run on that that we  believe is superior to our competitors in well, pretty much every way. Take a look at the comparison chart for yourself -

Insert Chart on (http://wiki.bitshares.org/index.php/Why_choose_Bitshares%3F) here

If you're wondering how BitShares X will stack up as a Bank & Exchange in the future when compared to traditional Banks & Exchanges or perhaps systems like Bitcoin take a look at this -

Insert new comparison Chart here, includes stuff like -

BitShares X  I Normal Bank I Normal Exchange I Bitcoin
Documentation required
Privacy
Anonymous transactions
Confiscation/seizure risk
Transaction fees
- Transaction size fee
- International transfer fee
Transaction speed
Dividends
Currency options
Solvency                (Normal bank - Highly Leveraged etc.)
Transparency         (Normal banks could have bad loans/dodgy accounting etc.)

I hope you can see why we think BitShares X, which brings individual liberty and privacy back to banking & does everything better and faster than our competitors has the potential to rival the biggest competitors in only a few years!

If you have any ideas on improving the BitShares X main page please feel free to post them here.

Very soon BitShares X will be trading and lots of people will see it on coinmarketcap, maybe for the first time and also many people that are just interested in Bitcoin but don't do much alt-coin investing. Even though it is just version 1.0 with limited features they say 'You only have one chance to make a good first impression' so the page people see when they click through on the BTSX symbol could be very important for BitShares X & BitShares as a whole.

At the moment we have these options -

http://bitshares.org/industries/banking/
http://bitshares.org/banking-learn-more/
http://wiki.bitshares.org/index.php/Bitshares_X

Personally I think the information on the wiki is the best.

At the moment when I've been mentioning/introducing BitShares X on a forum, using the main paragraph below, if I had to think of a landing page of the top of my head it would look something like -
