Press send - nothing happens

Status bar says "blocks are synced" - no other message and nothing flashes.

I am trying to return the btsx that puppies so kindly loaned me to get started and register my account.

I have filled out the fields AMOUNT
                                     TO
                                     MEMO

and then have pressed SEND, but nothing happens. I then shut down and restarted the client and tried again, but with the same result - nothing happens.

Can anyone tell me why I am stuck and what to do about it?
