It's not a bug.

But couldn't the vote button automatically transfer the whole stake to oneself?? Disadvantage is that is costs tx fees everytime you vote but that is so minimal...

Also since there can be a confusion that the whole stake should be sent to the delegate one want s to vote for or something...

I don't really get what you are asking but let me quickly tell you about DPOS.

in DPOS every stake (every single BTSX) has a vote.. if you have 10k btsx you have 10k btsx votes for EACH and every delegate you approve ..
but in order to let the network know who you voted for you need to make a transaction (thats all the network sees) .. that transaction contains an amount of BTSX (and thus an amount of votes) and alist of delegates that (each) receives the votes ..

I don't see your bug ...

in the past i just transferd my funds to myself and didn't checked the delegates i votes. but today i transfered fund via "vote" button and now all my wanted delegates are showing nicely. maybe here is a voting bug? seems like only when i transfer funds from myself to myself and not using vote.
