If bitUSD pays a dividend of 5% per year and fees from speculators (not covering their short positions in the event of a margin call) go to holders of bitAssets; then wont the value of say a single bitUSD be equal to more than one USD.

I would think this would be a very bad thing as we would want a derivative asset that most accurately tracks the real world asset. Otherwise we would need to use exchange rate calculators etc when making purchases in bitUSD because we would first want to convert the price back to USD. I would enjoy a world where one can just look at the dollar price of something and then pay in bitUSD because the values are almost exactly pegged.

Usually when I give my 2millibit its because I'm missing something. What am I missing here.
