Interesting, so any open bids and asks will be attached to the bottom of the Blockchain? Also, will the rewards really be starting out at 3,200,000,000 BTS per block?

Those are Satoshis and actual money supply numbers are not fixed.

The market at the bottom just summarizes the bids / asks in the chain for debugging purposes.

More important it to follow how dividends, fees, etc work and how the transactions link together.  Also note that that blockchain 'validates' so we are making a lot of progress.
