So.  I don't get the reference,  I apparently have the correct amount of ethanol in my blood stream to think this post is hilarious anyways.  Congratulations

Wall Street reference. Bulls and Bears. Look it up.

http://www.investopedia.com/university/stocks/stocks7.asp

When someone is "bullish" they believe in price going up and are usually buying. When someone is "bearish" they believe price is going down and are usually selling.

Finding any seller that would sell that much this early in the game is going to be a tough find.  I'd recommend (quietly) buying every day on the exchanges, like the rest of us. Hard to do as we're now solidly in #3 spot. Good luck in your search to find a seller.  B

Wow. Thank you to everyone for the comments and feedback.

So what are your plans? I hope you still plan to buy in some other way. I suspect after the price feeds go live and people get an understanding of what's going on they may be more amenable to a large sale. Right now everyone's just sort of holding their breath.

For example right now I am holding 100%. Once prices start to climb and I can sell of a portion of my shares, say 20% for $2MM US I'd be down for that because I'd be trading future growth of 20% of my stake for never having to work again. At my age early retirement is more attractive than private jets :).

Oh, sorry about that guys.  When I saw the price of $0.75, I must not have been paying attention and I missed a few decimal places or something.  My brain must be tired of counting zeros.

No, I wouldn't be willing to pay $0.60, at least not yet.

I will be willing to sell  50,000 BTSX at $0.75 or even at $0.60 also... :)

Or should I?

Lack of arbitrage is the problem, isn't it. And this 'should' solves it.

I'll sell a million at $.75 payable in BTC using a legitimate escrow.

Actually I'd go lower to undercut S II, Brent.  Just get in touch.

I mentioned this to the one guy I know who has a decent stake and might have wanted to cash out, and seems like he's holding.

Good luck =)

(regarding large stakeholders:  I think ags trust is largest, like 7% or so, while largest individual holders are all <4%, and they are not many)

Even he is holding????

......

Yes, I also contacted the guy with the largest stake I know of (about ~1%). He said 'He will start considering selling 5-8 Mil BTSX, if anybody is ready to buy @ ~ $0.75-$1.00 a piece...'

Read the above how you want to read it.

Have any of these sellers contact me.

It sounds too fishy!
You can buy 5-10 mil BTSX from the market and you will most definitely not drive the price near $0.75.
But if you suggest decent enough escrow, I will be willing to participate in this suicidal deal of yours Brent.

I will be doing a live training next Thursday at 7pm EST showing how to buy large and small quantities of Bitshares.  You can buy large amounts of Bitshares like this, though it will drive the market price up or down.  I agree with these other answers to the thread, in that slippage is fine now, as I am positive that we will see $1 in the next 60-90 days.  Buying at this price, even if it rises to a few cents is nominal in the grand scheme.  If you want to watch, come here: http://linksfrom.us/howtobitshare

Even I'm not that optimistic. It will not happen in 90 days unless a lot of money flows into the ecosystem from Bitcoin hype.

But when the next run up happens for the crypto ecosystem Bitshares will be in prime position to reach $1. I think the first stop is 50cents and that is months from now and could happen quite easily.

if the bitUSD experiment succeed we reach that numbers this year.

*Only* 3%  :o

Anyone care to speculate how many Bytemaster has ? And will he leave his shares untouched like the great Satoshi did ?

Im kidding of course, but I do think their should be some disclosure about what Invictus' intentions are.

I really hope no one has 60M shares - a fairer distribution would be better for everyone.

That's only about 3% of all shares.  Till more of it gets burned, anyway.

I wish I could help but I'm still a buyer at these prices as well.  One of the devs might chime in and cut you a deal otherwise you'll probably have to grind it out the exchanges like the rest of us  8)

Hello everyone. I’m new to your forum but hoping I can make the right connections here. I am a private investor looking to purchase a significant quantity of BitsharesX. I’m not able to purchase what I’m looking for on the exchanges without significantly bumping the price so I’d like to go direct.

I’d like to acquire high six figures (USD) worth of BTSX, or roughly 60 million shares. Please PM me if you’re a seller and what your asking price is. I can complete the transaction in wire transfers, but only a small bit at a time, for safety or we can meet in person (US). Thank you for your time and good luck to you and what you’re doing with Bitshares.

Agree... buy what you can before bitAssets get into the wild.

Any slippage you cause now will be insignificant compared to what is coming.

Good luck finding anyone willing to dump 60 million shares at that price. A lot of us know that each share could be worth 50c to $1 months from now. Also these shares have very high utility so it's not just something to collect and sit on.

Welcome aboard. Wish I could help you, but I think most of us on here are buyers also. Personally, with what I know and believe about BTSX, I wouldn't sell mine for 100x the current price. It's kind of you to be concerned about the market effect of a large purchase, but with the current price escalation, every moment you wait is costing you money. I would suggest buying what you can now and then continuing to ask around for a large seller or two.
