It will surpass Litecoin in such a short time frame because of the exponential nature of technology.  Adoption of BitsharesX will be at an exponential rate as we catch up to Bitcoin.

Kind of how Asian GDP has risen exponentially as they catch up to the USA's GDP.

BitsharesX is a superior technology when compared to anything else currently in existance. As a result, all rational people will gravitate towards BitsharesX as will their capital.

The reason being that it'll take a couple of weeks for bitAssets to become stable and reach equilibrium.  Once that happens bitAssets will act as reserves further stabilizing the market as volume increases and transaction fees burn.  Users will see the benefits of holding bitLTC rather than LTC and LTC will fall against BTSX.
