There's a TON of stuff going on if you know where to look for it.

You can read the history of the past four years here:

Part 11 - It Is Very Cold in Space
Part 12 - Never Let Them See You Sweat
Part 13 - Cryptonomex Rears Its Head

Part 15 - Blockchain Platform Surfing
Part 16 - Developer Freedom Trumps User Convenience
Part 17 - The Fourth Guy Fawkes Day in BitShares History

The Telegram discussion thread is on fire.

Cher even had a hit song for those who won't see it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Uu3kCEEc98

No matter how hard I try
You keep pushing me aside
And I can't break through
There's no talking to you
It's so sad that you're leaving
It takes time to believe it
But after all is said and done
You're gonna be the lonely one

Do you believe in life after love?
I can feel something inside me say
I really don't think you're strong enough
Do you believe in life after love?
I can feel something inside me say
I really don't think you're strong enough

What am I supposed to do
Sit around and wait for you?
Well I can't do that
And there's no turning back
I need time to move on
I need a love to feel strong
Cause I've got time to think it through
And maybe I'm too good for you

Do you believe in life after love?

Judging from everything that's going on in this community
some people must!

Hey Stan! I'm well aware of all those things, but this is mainly work done by yourself and the bts team (thanks for that).

I was not aware of the telegram chat, can you link me up please?

By bringing this topic up, I meant to see if the people involved, are still spreading the word and if they are, how so?

PS The song is awesome (I hope Cher knows she is on about bitshares)  :D :D :D

 :)

PPS found the telegram chanell

I'm eager to know if anything has changed since then, I have missed 18 months out of bts life at one point...

This thread has been dead for over 2 years... I'm guessing anyone involved in this has long left bitshares

Doesn't look like it, looks liek most are "alive and well"  ;)

2) Never combine inputs, instead use multi-transaction payments

And a memo encoder to create different memos for these transactions.

coinjoin over a network? let the delegates figure out the input/outputs?

not sure if that does make sense though a little late here .. after 4h of reddit AMA I am out of brain juice and should probably go to bed ..

I think Bitshare promises better anonymity than Bitcoin, IIRC.
It does .. but the forum still logs your IP which are viewable by administrators :)

Currently BitShares anonymity is similar to Bitcoin, just easier to use.   The wallet as currently implemented goes the "easy route".

1) You get a new address with every transfer
2) No change addresses are used... so you can tie transactions together this way.
3) If you are voting for a unique slate then that can also tie your transactions together.
4) If you receive funds from multiple people and then transfer them all at the same time, they will be tied together.

End result:  privacy of the *CURRENT* wallet is similar to how bitcoin operates.

The blockchain supports greater privacy, but the advanced privacy features are not exposed:
1) Use change addresses
2) Never combine inputs, instead use multi-transaction payments
3) Reuse existing slates of other users (or use recommended slates)
4) Pay USD transfer fees with BitUSD

If you would like to help with Marketing go to https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?board=48.0 specifically we are looking for criticism (constructive) over on https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=8202.0 an infographic everyone can promote to there facebook friends, twitter and reddit.

Right now my friends and I are working on doing the text modification for one of the infographics.  We are stepping on peoples toes which we are sorry if we are offending anyone.  Come help us with the text modification and then use whichever infographic you like best.

Then why haven't administrators blocked the ip of the spammer who has been hitting us hard the last few days?

It's easy to switch IPs. They need to ban the URL *bbbtrust.co.uk
