We need to lobby some provider or build one

a super gateway like bidpay?/Paypal/VISA/Square/or?
or
a 2-bit gateway (a cryptocurrency exchange service like a currency exchange provider)

Obviously it is easier to build a currency exchange service.

The easiest way to get these services to adopt it is to build BitShares Toolkit based services that only accept bitUSD, bitYuan in their interfaces and making sure they all sharedrop to BitPay (say 1% of total shares).  This could also be used with DACs developed by Altcoin developers.

Why give them shares when you can give them BitUSD in a fixed amount and if they reject then offer an even better deal to their competitor. Be a tough negotiator with someone who has more money than you.

BitPay doesn't really have much leverage here and their industry is very competitive.

BitShares Toolkit? explain please  :)

quickly...I am on break from homework atm :)

the BitShares Toolkit is there to enable the development of DACs that have DPOS and TITAN built in from the start.  Imagine instead of having to code everything by building your own libraries, the BitShares Toolkit comes with the libraries you need already in place so you can essentially bootstrap an Enterprise-ready DAC in far less time than if you had done it from the ground up.

the BitShares Toolkit gives you that and Sharedropping gives you an audience that will be able to quickly assess the value of your business and help A) Critique it, B) Push Adoption, C) Help during Beta Development, D) Use it,  and/or E) Build on it (like people built on bitcoin).

Sounds great.  We need this "..libraries" already built.

If you need a sounding board for your university hw I can help.  Im finishing up analyzing an Asian conglomerate.

More exchanges and payment processors are definitely needed! I'm not sure if Bitpay would be down though, they have been somewhat reluctant to adopt ALT coins. I have been trying to get in contact with some that do though, we could use some help if you have some time: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=8384.0

Bitshares, is no altcoin.    It is a complete new product all together and should not be associated with any of the experiments that came before IMHO.   Bitshares changes everything!

i won't get into a debate about POW vs POS.  i honestly think both are great and the whole of crypto is awesome.  another crypto is not the enemy..  it's fiat.  so no arguments which crypto implementation is better.  i am just amazed that really smart people are creating value on the internet and could possibly take the control of 'money' away from governments and big corporations.
*agreed*
