If they've got plenty of time, not sure who would think it's worth it. I'm only a newbie at BTT with 8 posts, and it throttles posts down to 1 every 6 minutes so I can't even get to 10 without a little effort. OK, time to post something there again...

It takes 30 posts to get out of newbie position to Jr. member, so I won't be voting there anytime soon.

You seem to ask the right questions and get things fast! With a bit of reading about why Bitcoin works in general and why DPOS works more efficiently and what DACs are and why the "Bitcoin as a company" analogy makes sense you can see quickly so that most of the ppl on BTT talk all day without understanding anything about Bitcoin.

Thanks for the compliment delulo, I'm giving it alot of energy & focus right now. Glad it's apparent to other people  +5%

Here is a new thread for all the bump requests: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=9174.0
Whenever you have something that you would like others to vote up or comment on you can share it there and those who want to take their time to push bitshares a bit something have a central place to look at :)

Yes +5% +5%.  I think you can also "follow" threads so that they show up in your new replies link.  So follow the thread in marketing so when we have something new to bump/comment on/upvote people will be aware of it.

 +5% For that click "notify"

You guys should bump this.  It isn't BTSX but it is Bitshares and it is good to get the brand out there in a general sense and not framed as another altcoin.  This is interesting because it really doesn't seem to be a typical coin.  The functionality and need diverges far from what one would expect with an "altcoin" or what have you.

^^^ SO BUMP THE THREAD WITH TALK LIKE THE ABOVE.  :)

I commented, it's genuinely very interesting.

Voted, but it's pretty meaningless as anyone can just create endless bitcointalk accounts and vote as many times as they want.

"Ethereum
eMunie
NXT

I would probably add Bitshares given its popularity to the list but I haven't read the whitepaper yet."

The above is an example of why grass roots marketing is important. I pulled this from the thread that has the voting. It is a shame that this is being considered alternative marketing :(

But how exactly NXT and Ripple  put you off with their 'complexity' ?

As I remember you can read Russian, look into this 2 threads:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345882
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=621940

From beginning NXT was simple, but today it's looks like a good tool for professionals but not for newbie.

PS: Week ago my friend sell all NXTs because with last change they made (something with public key at blockchain) he got problems to send NXT between exchanges.

NXT community join to voting  :) now voting become more interesting.

I do thing NXT is the 'next' best thing.
I also think that someone in the 'next' state of mind is the easiest to convert... they just need a few core ideas.
It also sounds that the ripple guys should not be too far off, but the 'smaller' step somehow is harder for them.

Yes, NXT looks very promising and has very professional community, but personally I don't like NXT because it's looks to complicated, same with Ripple  :(

I like BitShares!  :)

My heart, soul, and... money (as of this moment about 250% of my allocated crypto fund and growing), are in BTSX.
But how exactly NXT and Ripple  put you off with their 'complexity' ?

If anything our biggest challenge is explaining to folks, how our system is changing the world as we know it.... and it does seem more complex to them than it really is.
Lack of arbitrage is the problem, isn't it. And this 'should' solves it.

I once had a serious problem with a NXT transaction.  I went to a secondary forum on accident and they pretty much tried to bury my questions.  That is only part of the reason I dislike NXT.  On the main forum though I've had positive experiences.

NXT was way innovative, but innovation is a constantly moving thing and at this point I think their main innovation it saying they meant the stock/share metaphor from the beginning. :)

I am unable to vote on that thread.  Is there a post requirement to vote?

Probably... you can always go 'eagleeye' style though.

lol @ eagleeye.  He has grown a little bit on me lately, but I am still quite suspect.

in regards to BTT, yes you need a certain level of account to vote.  Junior might do it, but it might also be the level above.

I just can't do it.  I try really hard to make all of my posts both relevant and valuable to the conversation.  I have failed to do this plenty of times, but I can't just post to post.

Yes, I know it takes a special talent.

Just copy random posts of 'chickenbrain' aka 'eagleeye' and past them in random threads. They are well designed for that purpose.  :)
