I remember there was this marketing campaign in New Zealand (Dont know too much but know some) basically he did a free ice cream for anyone who came to a specific ice cream parlour location and had his mega.co.nz as the logo on the cup.

The parlour got a lot of free publicity and mega got some major cheap advertising (not super cheap but cheaper than $20 dollars per client).

Anyone with more info chime in.
