Title: "Blockchain Activity" Google Assistant agent published!

I previously wrote about adding Blocktivity functionality to the Bitshares HUG REST API (https://steemit.com/bitshares/@cm-steem/new-blocktivity-bitshares-hug-functionality (https://steemit.com/bitshares/@cm-steem/new-blocktivity-bitshares-hug-functionality)). Armed with this new functionality, I created a Google Assistant agent to provide this information through a conversational interface to potentially billions of users worldwide.

The agent has now been published by Google & available on all devices which have google assistant support (not the lite version yet, nor watches, sorry). Check out Blockchain Activity on the Google Assistant agent directory. https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000003e08d8dba9

Try it out by simply saying "Ok Google, talk to blockchain activity" to a google assistant supported device.

Have any questions? Reply below!

Regards,
CM.

I've made several updates recently which are awaiting Google's approval for public use, hopefully it'll draw more users in towards the blockchain activity reports.

I'll look to add "Where to spend" similar to "Where to trade", do we have a business directory for places which accept BTS?

No, I source the statistics for the 'Blockchain Activity' Google Assistant agent from blocktivity.info with the admin's permission on Telegram.

Check out the output of the blocktivity scraping script:

I've updated the Blockchain Activity Google Assistant Action to be more reliable, less verbose and supporting multiple Bitshares web wallets as locations to trade supported cryptocurrencies, try it out!

This looks very cool. I wish I had a device that it worked on. The list of supported currencies is great, hitting all the major ones.

Thanks, yeah it's available on quite a lot of devices, especially as the Google Assistant continues to support lower versions of Android. Moving onwards I'd like to support more languages so that the Blockchain Activity reports (and Bitshares) can get shown to more people around the world, not just those with English supporting phones.

If users use the bot then leave a honest review that'd also help the bot get more traction 👍

I will look to try to get a device that this works on. I would like to see it in action! If I get a device, you can bet I would leave a review.

Updated again https://steemit.com/beyondbitcoin/@cm-steem/blockchain-activity-google-assistant-action-v13-approved-by-google-try-it-out-ok-google-talk-to-blockchain-activity

I'd greatly appreciate any honest reviews of the bot, more use and reviews results in the action being promoted to more users.

Cheers 👍
