I just installed xubuntu 14.04 on an old computer and I've got my wallet saved on a backup drive. Are there instructions showing what I need to do to import my PTS and AGS into a new wallet and is xubuntu 14.04 going to be a pain or should I install something else/newer etc.?

Ultimately I want to start using the bitshares DEX and transfer my money and coins over from poloneix and honestly PTS/AGS are giving me a bit of a headache because I'm not convinced I have that many PTS/AGS anyway. I asked a guy on reddit about it and showed him my old account address to see if it would be worth my while trying to import my old wallet.dat and I never heard back from him LOL. So I don't think I've got much tbh! But I want to get setup with the new wallet and use that rather than poloniex.

Are these the only options -

Download the wallet -

https://github.com/bitshares/bitshares-core/releases/tag/2.0.170606

Or use the online one here -
