Gamey mentioned in another threat (https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,16939.msg216675.html#msg216675) that the toolkit idea would be gone with 2.0. I am not so sure.
With the licensing of graphene has it become more likely that the graphene code is used in combination with a sharedrop on AGS/PTS/CNX holders?

Anyone who wants to use Graphene for anything but BitShares will have to license it from CNX.
IMO that will make future sharedrops muchless likely, because
a) nobody can create a simple clone coin using the toolkit, and
b) anyone who buys a license from CNX has no (moral) reason to sharedrop on anyone else.

I thought as long as it was sharedropped that it could be done without the license, since if you sharedrop, you're doing something BitShares related.

Hence my thoughts on license fees being distributed with BTS. AGS / PTS might be more appropriate. Either way I would be happy. It will be impossible to sharedrop a private chain.

Because there are some cases where a share drop doesn't make sense. Some chains will have no 'tokens' and others will be private.

A share drop where the Cryptonomix customer feels courting the BTS customer base makes sense. If they get a deal on the license as a result more power to them. The alternative is to do what Crypti has done and just rewrite the whole thing. The protocol is public domain.
As an example where it wouldn't make sense: A healthcare network hires Cryptonomex to build them a blockchain based network to provide redundancy and security across their offices for the purpose of interoffice communication of medical records and other internal, non public, data.
