Title: problem with migration to 2.0
Post by: leon on November 26, 2015, 11:21:31 pm
Hi all ,
I'm having a problem importing my keys to 2.0 web wallet . I select the json file and it seems to be working as it shows my accounts and the amount of keys each contains . But when type the passphrase it just says " keep going" .

Any help would be much appreciated .
Thanks  :)

Likely you have a json file from a version before 0.5.4.
If so you have to download 0.5.4 and then export it. Then 0.9.2 or directly to 0.9.3c and export.

Did you see all your funds in the 093c client?

If so, it shouldn't be necessary to sync the blockchain.

Do you see your balance when you import the keys in the 2.0 wallet?

could you import your wallet then?
How did the wallet show you the account names if you could not enter the passphrase?
Could you elaborate in a little more detail?

I've been following the instructions from bitshares.org "migration guide " .Using the import key tool i've imported my json file and I can see the number of private keys each account has .In order to proceed further  I need to enter my passphrase and when I do it just says "keep going" no matter the length of the phrase .

Thanks for your help lads

I've tried copy pasting and i've tried typing it from the keyboard and it still says "keep going " .
Don't think the password is wrong because with the same password i can easily access my 0.9.3c wallet .
