I am an engineer :)
I'm being silly. The suggestion being that everyone stating where they are on a map makes things easier for government. It was meant in jest though as no one is doing things that are illegal. Just things that government might not like.. but I've derailed this thread. ;)That's why people should not pin point their house but their city ..
Guess I'm the only one in South America so far :)
rofl. I said I was being silly.. aka joke. And no, I am not worried about the government utilizing this map in any way.

but I agree ..
at least over here, things that are not forbidden cannot be illegal .. IMHO .. as long as BTC is legal .. so should be BTSX ..
Cool! Looks like it's still just me and my lonesome in Colorado...

Vote xeroc!Oh .. please do not vote for "xeroc" .. it's a keyhotee founder id and thus registered as a delegate .. I do though not plan to run a delegate on that key!!!

@Stan: can we have "map.bitshares.org" point to that map?
BTW, I am willing to:
- move the administration to Stan or any other "community manager"
- export the name/GPS coordinates as a CSV file for public download
*bump*

maybe we can find some talented coder (pfff -- no need to search for long) .. who can integrate this maybe with BTS login/verification and or forum verification ..
putting a marker and storing coordinates with a name shouldn't be too difficult considering the amount of source code available with openstreetmap already
but let's put that to the end of the to-do-list :)
We need this on bitshares.org somewhere.http://bitshares.org/community-map/
This should be pinned to the top
